What to expect from your Summer Russian language immersion program?

Intensive Learning Experience with 20 Russian language lessons per week: Immerse yourself in a concentrated and focused language program during the summer months. With daily exposure and practice during your Russian language lessons, you’ll see rapid improvement in your Russian language skills. Summer language immersion program is available for levels A0 to B1+
Records of studies: upopn request after the completion of the immersion program students may enquire Records of studies.

Extra private Russian language lessons/ consultations
Private coaching allows for personalized lesson plans tailored to your specific needs, learning style, and goals. Your teacher will focus on areas where you need the most improvement, ensuring efficient progress.

Individual consultations:
For study period of 4 weeks: 4 private sessions (50 min each)
For study peirod of 8 and 12 weeks: 8 private sessions (50 min each)

Accommodation options during your Russian language summer immersion program

Host Family Stay: Go for for a Russian host family experience, where daily interactions provide an authentic cultural exchange. Share meals, traditions, and conversations, reinforcing your language learning in a natural and warm setting.

Student Shared flat: Living with students from different countries and backgrounds provides an excellent opportunity for cultural exchange. You can learn about their customs, traditions, and languages, enriching your overall experience. You will have a comfortable single room on self-catering basis. The Student flat offers a kitchen with all utilities provided and it will take only 20 min on foot to reach the school.

Social activities and excursions during summer immersion program:

Enjoy the beauty of Latvia’s landscapes during the summer season. From picturesque countryside to vibrant city life, the immersive setting enhances your learning experience, making it both educational and memorable. Beyond the classroom, explore Latvia’s rich cultural tapestry. Engage in local traditions, festivals, and guided excursions and activities that provide a holistic understanding of Russian language in a real-world context.

– 4 weeks: you will get 4 excursions up to 2.5 hours during your study days and 2 full day weekend excursions
– 8 weeks: expect to have 8 workday excursions and 4 weekend full day weekend excursions
– 12 weeks: expect to have 8 workday excursions and 6 weekend full day weekend excursions

Sample of your weekly half day excursions (2 – 3 hours)

Riga walking tour,  War museum, Ghetto museum, Art Nouveau district, Latvian Library, Moscow Forstade, Riga’s churches, Museum of Occupation, Central Market, Wooden Riga, etc

Sample of your weekend  full day excursion (up to 6 hours)
Daugavgrivas fortress, seaside resort Jurmala, Kemeri national park, Open-air museum Riga, trips to medieval Cesis, Sigulda etc.

Program fee includes: enrolment fee, study book, 20 Russian language lessons, private Russian language lessons, accommodation: Russian Host family with breakfast and dinner or Student Shared flat on self-catering basis, return transfer, activities and excursions (both with school mates and individual), records of studies.
