Big News – Latvia has successfully launched the EU Digital COVID Certificate for citizens recovered from Covid or vaccinated! Russian Language Academy BORN team has tried it out and IT WORKS!

And today, on Wednesday June 9th, the EU Parliament gave its final green light to the EU Digital COVID Certificate as well, to be available around all EU countries starting July 1st.

• All EU member states will accept the certificates proving vaccination, negative test result or recovery from a COVID infection.
• It should facilitate free movement and contribute to restrictions being lifted gradually in a coordinated manner.

What do you need to know?

This certificate will become a green light for travelling around EU after 14 days from the last vaccination. Also for everyone recovered within the last 3 months post-Covid it will be allowed to enter Latvia without a 10-day self-isolation. Great news, isn’t it?

So how does it look like?

You receive a QR code and are welcome to use it on your device when necessary. All the information is available online and for download. It’s easy to apply, easy to print and of course, will be easy to travel with!
