Russian Language Academy BORN
The teaching style at the Russian Language Academy BORN is incredibly effective. While the textbook and exercises are very helpful in learning Russian grammar, the engaging conversations I had with my teachers are really what helped me learn how to carry a conversation in the real world. This was one of the best experiences I have had learning a language. I have learned more Russian here in 3 months than I had in a year! Riga is such a unique city with beautiful architecture and a calming atmosphere, I hope to be back!

When I was initially looking for schools to study at, I found schools in other European countries, but this school seemed the best. It turned out it is the best! I started with virtually zero knowledge of Russian, as a beginner, literally just a few phrases. So, I was very nervous about coming to RLA BORN, but I immediately felt welcomed. It was very clear to me that this is not a competitive environment. Everyone here is very kind and extremely helpful. All the teachers, students, and the administration of this school want every student to succeed, and they help a lot with this!

If you are looking for Russian language competent teacher, then this school in Riga is an ideal option. Also I enjoyed very friendly atmosphere. The intensive courses are the best parts of this Russian language school. The teachers are very competent and highly qualified. I would definitely recommend Russian Language Academy BORN! Afterwards if we talk about Riga, I absolutely loved the ballet—it’s truly wonderful! Plus, there are so many fantastic festivals and events to enjoy!

I absolutely recommend Russian Language Academy BORN, because it’s just a great school! With all the experience you get you have a great assessment, you have an approachable administration, really almost feels like family here. Riga is a very beautiful city, it’s still Russian speaking, but offers the safe environment in the EU.
The coolest part for me was teaching, because the teachers were very motivated. It’s great that in class they only speak Russian, which really fosters your learning progress.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Russian Language Academy BORN! During my three week stay I learned more than I had previously learned during many months of self-study. My Russian language teacher has decades of professional experience and thus very quickly identified my strengths and weaknesses. She tailored the lessons accordingly and we worked intensely on improving my weak spots.
The administrative staff is always friendly and ahead of things.
Although my main focus was on learning the Russian language, I also enjoyed the beautiful architecture and rich culture of Riga.
It was my second stay in the school and many more will follow!
